Text messages from DispatchSam

DispatchSam, operated by DESIGNFLARE LLC, answers the phone for heating, plumbing and electrical contractors. This page describes exactly how we collect permission to send you a text message, what we send, and how to stop.

How consent is collected

There is no web form and no sign-up box. You give permission out loud, on a phone call that you placed to the contractor. There are two ways it happens:

You call the contractor's published business number. Our agent answers as that business, takes the details of the job, and before ending the call asks:
“Is it alright if we text you the confirmation and any updates?”
If you say yes, that permission is recorded against your booking before any automated message is sent. If you say no, we do not text you.
You text that number first. Starting the conversation yourself is permission to reply to it.

We do not buy, rent, or accept lists of phone numbers from anyone, and we never collect a number for messaging from any source other than the two above.

What we send

A reply when we miss your call
Confirmation of an appointment you booked
A reminder before that appointment
A follow-up if you enquired but did not book
A request for a review after the job is finished

These relate to a job you called about. We do not sell anything by text and we do not send marketing on behalf of anyone else.

Frequency, cost, and stopping

Message frequency varies — it depends on whether you book, and how many appointments you have. A typical job involves two or three messages in total.

Reply STOP to any message and we stop immediately and record the opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@dispatchsam.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information is never shared for marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your number is used only to send the messages described above, on behalf of the contractor you called.
